There are three ways to help Be A Mentor accomplish their mission:
Volunteer as a Mentor:
Mentoring is one of the most rewarding forms of volunteerism. Mentors serve as a positive role model for Charleston’s Youth, instilling confidence and self worth in children who need a bit of extra 1 on 1 attention and support. Be A Mentor’s goal is to connect mentors with a mentoring program that fits their available time commitment, desired age of a child, and that takes place at a comfortable and convenient location. Anyone with a desire to help a child succeed can become a mentor, sign up today!
Sponsor Be A Mentor:
Be a Mentor is always looking for business sponsors. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to become a “Business Buddy” sponsor and to get their employees or members involved as mentors! To learn more about sponsorship, read about our current sponsors and our Business Buddies program.
Donate:
Donations keep Be A Mentor thriving! Without our generous supporters, Be A Mentor could not continue our work to expand the reach of Charleston’s youth mentoring programs. We understand that not everyone has the time to become a mentor, and donating is a great alternative way to support Be A Mentor. (Although, many of our mentors become donors after realizing the rewarding and positive nature of the relationship they build with their mentee!) Donations can be made online or through the mail.
